Shrimp Pasta Recipe with White Sauce
I always say that cooking is simply a suggestion – so of course! This white sauce pasta recipe is really extremely versatile and essential.You can change the cheese – use a Pecorino Romano, or if you're a bleu lover i feel an honest bleu would be amazing.
Original recipe involved scallops, but I used shrimp. it might even be delicious with chicken, bacon or crab.
The asparagus could also easily be substituted – broccoli, peas….the possibilities are endless!
I use milk rather than cream to chop out a couple of calories. If you’ve never tried this trick, you actually got to . It doesn’t compromise flavor or texture at all! be happy to use cream if that's what you favor , though.

How to Cook Shrimp pasta with white sauce
I love making shrimp due to how easy and fast it's .
Add the shrimp to the pan when it's involved . I attempt to confirm it’s beat one layer.
Cook the shrimp just until it's pink on the primary side, only 2-3 minutes, then flip it to the opposite side.
Cook the second side just until the shrimp is pink and opaque, then remove from the warmth .
This really only takes a couple of minutes, and you would like to form sure you don’t overcook your shrimp, so keep an eye fixed on it!

Ingredients for bechamel sauce
All Purpose flour / Maida 2 TablespoonsUnsalted Butter 2 Tablespoons
Salt 1/4 teaspoon
Black Pepper Powder (coarsely ground) 1/4 teaspoon
Half cream & Half milk

Ingredients for veg Pasta
Pasta (Any kind) (Penne or Conchiglie works best) 1 cupOnion 1/2 cup (cut into big chunks)
Mixed Vegetables (Colored Bell peppers +Mushroom) 2 Cups (cut into big chunks)
Garlic 3 cloves (minced)
bechamel sauce 1 cup
Salt (to cook pasta) 1 teaspoon
Salt (for vegetables) 1/4 teaspoon
Freshly ground black pepper 1/2 teaspoon (coarsely powdered)
Italian seasoning (optional) 2 generous pinch
Coriander leaves a couple of for garnish
Oil 1 tablespoon
Parmesan Cheese (grated) 1 tablespoon
Sugar 1 pinch

Cook Pasta consistent with package instruction which is – Bring water to boil, add salt and teaspoon of oil and cook the pasta. counting on the form and size the cooking time varies. (Refer the package)![]() |

Heat oil during a pan and saute the onion, garlic and mixed vegetables with some salt & pinch of sugar. Just lightly saute to cook, don't over cook- we'd like them crunchy.
Once done add the bechame sauce thereto and immediately add the cooked pasta. Add in freshly ground pepper, Italian seasoning and salt
Simmer jiffy and transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves and grated parmesan cheese.
Serve immediately!
