How To Make Chocolate Cake -- Chocolate Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups sugar2 cups buttermilk
3/4 cup cocoa
1 cup butter or shortening
2 Eggs
1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
2 cups flour
1 Pinch salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
Cooking Directions
Mixed 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of buttermilk and coco in pan over low temperature until its getting hot.Cream 1 cup sugar, butter and eggs.
Mix together 1 cup buttermilk and soda, and increase creamed mixture
alternating with a mixture of flour, salt and vanilla. Mix this 2nd mixture with 1st mixture of sugar,buttermilk and coco, beat with mixer until of cake batter consistency.
Bake at 350 degrees, very slowly in greased 9x13x2 inch pan until done.
Ice cake in pan.
Yield: 16 servings.

Ingredients:1 package Baker's German's Brand sweet chocolate -- broken into pieces
6 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
3 Eggs -- separated
1/4 cup sugar
Cooking Directions:
Melt the chocolate over low temperature and also melt the butter over low temperature, stirring it until its fully melt, then remove.
from heat and stir in flour.
Blend in egg yolks, one at a time.
Beat egg whites until foamy throughout. Gradually add sugar and beat
until mixture will form soft peaks.
Gently fold in chocolate mixture, blending thoroughly.
Pour into greased and floured 8" layer pan.
Bake it on 350 degree, bake is 20 to 30 minutes, until cake inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan 10 minutes.
Cake may settle as it cools. Remove from pan and finish cooling upsided down on rack.

Ingredients2 cups (400 grams) granulated white sugar
1 3/4 cups (245 grams) all-purpose flour
3 or 4 cups (75 gram unsweete cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 cup (240 ml) warm water or coffee
1 cup (240 ml) milk
1/2 cup (120 ml) corn, vegetable, safflower or vegetable oil
1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Chocolate Frosting:
6 ounces (180 grams) semi sweet or semi-sweet chocolate , coarsely chopped
1 cup (226 grams) unsalted butter, room temperature
2 cups (230 grams)sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
Instruction
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C)
2. Place oven rack in the center of the oven, pray two – 9 inch (23 cm) cake pans with a non stick vegetable spray. Then, line with parchment paper or a nonstick liner in the bottom of the pans.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients, sugar, flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
4. In another large bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients, eggs, water (or coffee), milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined or smooth. Pour the batter into prepared pans, bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake just comes out clean.
5. Remove from oven to wire rack and cool it for about 10 minutes. Then remove the cakes from their pans and funky completely on a greased wire rack before frosting.
Chocolate Frosting
1. Melt the chocolate during a heatproof bowl placed over a saucepan of simmering water. Remove from heat andlet cool to room temperature.
2. In the medium bowl, use your electric hand mixer, beat the butter until smooth and light. Beat in sugar, the vanilla extract until smooth sand creamy. Add the chocolate to the vanilla frosting and stir until smooth.
